SUCCESSFUL EXAMPLE PRACTISING THE THESIS THAT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ARE THE FIRST PRODUCTIVE FORCES——A REPORT ON THE COURSE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOIST EXPOSED BURN THERAPY

Since the establishment of “Chinese Medicine of Burns, Wounds and Ulcers” and the invention of Burns Regenerative Medicine and Therapy (BRT) together with the series of MEBO products by  Prof. Xu Rongxiang, the famous medical expert on burns, wounds and ulcers in 1979, China became the first country whose cure rate of burns, wounds and ulcers enter a new era. Since then, countries in the world followed the step of China to revolutionize their burns medicine and therapy, introducing Prof. Xu’s BRT and medicine into their countries to treat burn. The course of the development of BRT from its invention to application presents the typical example reflecting the the sensible thesis porposed by former Chinese Chairman Deng Xiaoping that “Science and technology are the first productive forces”. It also reflects the great witness of Chinese national culture. While this revolutionary technology is the same as other revolutionary technologies in the history that it went through frustration in the way to success and meanwhile had plenty of thrills and legends. International Medical Help

At the beginning of 1991, the Gulf War broke. American doctors used Dr. Xu Rongxiang's invention cured 43 chemical burned patients. UAE Crown Prince Khalid's Princess was badly burned. Even though receiving western doctors' treatment, the Princess was still left with scar and a little disability. The Crown Prince spent more than one million dollars on treatment of Princess's scar but without no results. In July 1991, recommended by American doctors, Crown Prince took Princess by himself to China and requested Dr. Xu's treatment. After 4 months' treatment, the scar on the wounds without skin-grafting were healed completely and the skin-grafting wounds were healed more than 60%. In order to express his great thankness to Dr. Xu, Crown Prince invited Dr. Xu and his wife to visit UAE. Further more, he specially invite Dr. Xu to be his Chief Technical Adviser and decided to promote the application of MEBT invented by Dr. Xu on burn wounds nationally.
